
During the meeting, the progress made in the project was evaluated, including the progress of establishing national Cancer Mission Hubs, the possibilities for involving professionals and patients in various processes, and synergies with other significant European projects. Special attention was given to planning the development of the future European network of Cancer Mission Hubs and preparing the continuation of the ECHoS II project application. Dina Bēma participated in the meetings of the new project application preparation group, as well as discussions on related work packages. At the same time, she informed about the progress of Latvia's involvement in Work Package 8 and strengthened cooperation between ECHoS and JANE-2 personalized cancer prevention experts. The meeting also discussed potential challenges in establishing Cancer Mission Hubs in countries with small populations, seeking solutions in collaboration with the EUnetCCC initiative. This visit promoted international cooperation, scientific networking, and ensured Latvia's representation in European-level health research and innovation processes.
