The institute team brings together research staff, post-doctoral research fellows and administrative support staff.

In accordance with Clause 30 of the LU KPMI Regulations, the staff of the Institute consists of:

Management - Director, Deputy Director, Executive Director, Assistant Director.

Academic staff - Within the meaning of the KPMI regulations, are the leading researchers, researchers and research assistants elected by the University of Latvia.

Scientific and technical staff - Persons who have the necessary technical knowledge and experience in one or more fields and who, under the guidance of scientists, perform technical tasks in scientific activities - laboratory technicians, experts, etc.
 
Scientific support staff - Persons who perform auxiliary functions necessary for scientific activity: planning, economic, financial, scientific and technical, they are employees of information structural units or others, administrative project managers and their assistants, PR specialists, etc.
